Salon Policies 

Please note these policies were written to ensure you and your dog have the best experience possible.

Appointment:

Cancellations require a 12 hours notice. There will be a $30 rebooking fee PER DOG for the first late cancellation. 2nd and 3rd cancellations will be %50 of your last full groom price with a $30 minimum, and any late cancellations after will be 100% of the last full groom.

If you are 15+ minutes late, you may need to reschedule and the missed appointment fee will apply. If we are able to accept your dog late a late fee ($40/hr) will apply.

You must pickup within 30 minutes of ready time. Late pickups will be charged $40 per hour. We do not provide daycare services.

A $30 deposit is required for new clients to hold the appointment. The deposit is applied to your groom and is non-refundable. Last-minute cancellations, reschedules, or no proper rabies paperwork prior to appointment results in a forfeited deposit. 

All dogs must be on a leash.

Rabies vaccination MUST be current with ALL clients. We must have paperwork on file. Other vaccinations should be up to date based on your vet’s recommendations.

Please use the grass to potty and do NOT let your dogs potty on the sidewalk or in the salon.

Do not show up early to see if your dog is ready. This excites the pet and adds time and risk to the appointment. If this happens your dog will be considered finished and the full fee will apply. Safety of your pet is our #1 priority.

Our prices increase at the beginning of every year to ensure our staff is paid a livable wage and we can continue to give your dog the best services we can provide. Thank you for helping us help your pets!

Condition of Pet:

We do not accept flea infested dogs in the salon. Please seek flea treatment from your vet or contact us before the appointment for a Capstar pill to kill fleas. If fleas are discovered during grooming, a flea bath and Capstar will be given, and there will be an additional charge of $17-22 (dependent upon size of dog) to cover cost and time of cleaning.

We will de-matt dogs, to an extent, at a rate of $1.50/minute if the matting is minimal and the dog tolerates the process. If there is excess matting or the dog is uncomfortable, it will need to be shaved to start with a fresh coat. We believe in comfort and safety over vanity and have each pet’s best interest in mind. We will never do more than one major dematt per dog.

Fluffy trims at/over half and inch will be required to maintain a minimum 4-6 week schedule. In some cases we may require a more frequent schedule if necessary for the comfort of your dog. If the schedule cannot be maintained we may not be the best fit for your dog. We want your pet to have the best experience possible.

Behavior:

We do not groom aggressive dogs. Dogs that require special handling that add additional time to the groom can expect an additional handling fee of $5-30 depending in the severity of the issues and time involved. Behavioral cases will be accepted on a case-by-case basis.
